The industry is facing significant headwinds, and the company must make some tough prioritizations to make sure Equinor is competitive through the industry downturn. The decision was made as part of Equinor’s ongoing review of the early-stage project portfolio investments, which is aimed at maintaining a strong and balanced portfolio and ensure we can leverage our full technical and financial capabilities.

As a consequence of this decision, we will reduce our offshore wind presence and organisation in Vietnam over the coming months.
