Situation normalised at Snorre B

At 13:15 Wednesday afternoon Norway time Equinor’s alarm centre was notified of smoke development on the Snorre B platform in the North Sea. The situation at the platform is now normalised.
The platform was not in production when the smoke development began.
The smoke development took place in a separator on the processing plant at Snorre B during maintenance work.
There were 121 personnel on board Snorre B when the incident occurred.
Equinor is the operator of the Snorre field, which consists of the Snorre A and Snorre B platforms.
