Statoil ASA (OSE:STL, NYSE:STO) today, 2 September 2010, confirms that it has filed an application with the Oslo Stock Exchange for the Ordinary shares of the newly constituted Statoil Fuel & Retail ASA (SFR) to be admitted to the main list and to trading on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
This is a necessary regulatory step required to allow the planned IPO of Statoil's energy and retail business to take place in Q4 2010, if market conditions allow.
