The Oseberg field center in the North Sea will continue to run at reduced export capacity over the weekend, after a decision to clean out the second of the platform's two dehydration trains.
Gas exports from Oseberg have been reduced to 10 million sm3 per day since Tuesday, March 7, during the cleanup of the first dehydration train, which was completed successfully and according to plan.
Consequently, Hydro has decided to carry out a similar cleaning operation for the second train. During the work, gas exports from Oseberg will continue to run at reduced capacity, at around 15 million sm3 per day.
Platform personnel will begin cleaning the second dehydration train on Saturday morning. The Oseberg field is expected to resume normal export level, at around 25 million sm3 per day, in the beginning of next week.
Hydro is the operator of the Oseberg field, with a 34 percent holding.
