The impact assessment process is an integral part of the overall risk management process in Equinor.
Our requirements for impact assessments are based on national requirements in the countries we operate and guidance as set out in international standards.
Disclosure of information and an open dialogue with potentially affected communities and other stakeholders are key elements in the impact assessment process. Recognising that different countries have different procedures and routines for involving stakeholders, our ambition is to comply with national requirements and to apply best practice as described in international standards.
In joint ventures and in partner operated projects, we endeavour to promote Equinor’s principles for impact assessment as a tool for managing environmental and social impacts in project performance.
Our impact assessments are published in PDF format below and may be downloaded freely. They are normally published in their original language only.
Please note: reports relating to our Norwegian projects are therefore only available in Norwegian.
