Equinor first quarter 2024 results
Equinor delivered adjusted operating income* of USD 7.53 billion and USD 2.57 billion after tax in the first quarter of 2024. Equinor reported net operating income of USD 7.63 billion and net income at USD 2.67 billion. Adjusted net income* was USD 2.84 billion, leading to adjusted earnings per share* of USD 0.96.
Equinor to commence second tranche of the 2024 share buy-back programme

Equinor has entered into an agreement with Standard Lithium Ltd to acquire a 45% share in two lithium project companies in Southwest Arkansas and East Texas.

Equinor has signed an agreement to buy BeGreen, a leading solar project developer in North-West Europe. The acquisition strengthens Equinor’s capabilities and portfolio within solar PV.
Equinor and SSE Thermal acquire Triton Power and prepare for transition to hydrogen
Equinor and SSE Thermal are stepping up ambitions to contribute to decarbonisation in the UK. The companies are buying power company Triton Power from Energy Capital Partners (ECP), an energy-transition infrastructure investor, and are starting preparations to use hydrogen in the Saltend Power Station.
